DePIN, SoulBound NFTs and Interoperability Protocols
Here in this chapter, we discuss some already existing technologies and ideas that we adopt to develop the AiGO network;
DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) Technology.
We admit that crowd-sourcing for resources is an effective idea for macro-economic solutions. From photo-vending sites to ride-sharing services, these solutions thrive on the power of collective contributions and reward-spreading. The ride-sharing market revenue estimate in 2024 is over USD 147 billion and projected to reach USD 679.18 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 21.05% while photo vending platforms with a flexible copyright structure account for a significant percentage of photos used on the internet. This reflects this approach's effectiveness; yet, a zero-trust and permissionless platform design holds tremendous potential for such sectors.
Our idea for the AiGO network alludes to the tenet of DePIN. DePIN technology encourages crowd-sourcing and empowers contributors through a more transparent, secure, inclusive, lucrative, and community-centric approach. It extensively uses decentralized networks and protocols, and trustless data verification systems.
Decentralized networks
Decentralized networks employ encryption technologies and a participatory design for data management. A modular, multi-focal, verification system with diverse applications. Despite significant variations in consensus mechanisms, encryption technologies, and primary utility, decentralized networks are built for rigid security, verifiable data, zero barriers to participation, and multiple points of administration.
AiGO Network will adopt this technology as a wholistic approach because;
Decentralized networks are permissionless and scalable. As a network for a non-finite user base, the blockchain will enable us to develop an expandable network and maintain top-level efficiency.
Decentralized networks are a flexible remittance facility. We will be able to easily manage reward distribution and revenue collation.
Decentralized networks are inherently secure. The native security structure in decentralized networks will augment our native security system to ensure a sufficiently secure network.
Nodes and Data verification systems.
Nodes are like guardians on decentralized networks. Network nodes take up the role of connecting with sequencers and provers validating data and monitoring for misdeeds on decentralized networks. They are protocols that plug into the network and stream diverse data with the intent to keep the network in the loop, avoiding strays and forming a security unit for the network. The idea of a decentralized network is rooted in nodes, for every node that joins a network, the security and decentralization improve.
The AiGO network will constitute privately run nodes and a provision for public nodes to enable anyone, anywhere in the world to join the network and contribute to building a sufficiently decentralized network for next-generation mobility data management. With the network node architecture, we will be able to develop a data verification layer. Like the data provision layer, operators in the mode will be incentivized. The incentivization program will be designed to attract quality validation infrastructure to the network and promote a sincere dedication to the network.
Decentralized Data Storage
Cloud-based data storage solutions are sought after for their scalability and flexibility. Disk storage is rigid and struggles to fit into new-generation systems. Cloud-based storage solutions provide on-demand storage space with leverage for expansion. Leading companies in the sector have data centers in different geographical locations and a central unit to manage the allocation of storage space and management of stored data on behalf of their users.
While we acknowledge the brilliance of centralized cloud storage solutions, we admit that decentralized cloud storage solutions suit our technology best. We hope to create a synapse between the most efficient decentralized data storage solution(s) and the AiGO network to preserve the zero-trust model of our network and exclude single-point-of-failure units.
Decentralized data storage solutions present encrypted data storage facilities that enable users to store and retrieve data online. Operational work-throughs for decentralized data storage solutions include torrent-based data storage and retrieval and collaborative disk space provision. Through these strategies, they are able to develop decentralized, infinitely scalable on-demand storage systems for individuals and institutions. AiGO will employ this technology to securely store and dispense data generated on the network.
SoulBound NFTs
Non-fungible tokens are a decentralized form of digital identity. They are used to create deeds of ownership through an immutable digital signature. NFTs have grown into a giant utility and a thriving market, thanks to digital asset creators using the technology to etch the proof of ownership for these assets on the blockchain. NFTs are mostly of the ERC-721, ERC-1155, and SPL standards, in their basic form, they are transferable and the holder of the NFT can prove ownership of the attached asset on-chain.
NFTs as an efficient identity system was mutable until the development of SoulBound tokens (SBTs). SoulBound NFTs are non-transferable NFTs that are cryptographically attached to a wallet and can be used as a personal identity method. SBTs cannot be moved or traded like normal NFTs and have provision for metadata that can be used to identify a person uniquely.
AiGO network will adopt SBTs for systemic identification. SBTs allude to our goal of developing a trustless and immutable facility and come in handy for the identification of key players on the network.
Interoperability protocols
Blockchain networks are rigid systems. Each system is designed as a unit with no straightforward system to connect it to other networks. The disjoint between blockchain networks impedes the technology’s progression as networks are unable to share resources with each other. Interoperability protocol bridges the gap between blockchain networks, allowing autonomous systems to communicate with each other. Crypto asset bridging is the primary use case of these bridges, but blockchain networks can share more than just network tokens through interoperability protocols.
Interoperability protocols use smart contract technology, cross-chain messaging protocols, and a unified network system to create an efficient communication pathway between blockchain networks.
To create a synergy between decentralized networks relevant to the AiGO network, we will leverage best-in-class interoperability protocols to connect the required factions of the networks to multiple networks as it apply to our facility. The interoperability protocol will be optimized for efficiency and security as the case may be.
